Office divider screen with glazed folding panels
Multi-panel office divider screens comprise clear panels each 2 m high by 1 m wide mounted in aluminium frames linked by hinges. An angle-locking mechanism holds adjoining folding office screens in the desired position.
Glazed folding screens can be ordered online with either two or three interlinked sections with a choice of stylish silver or black frames.
Freestanding floor screens are equipped with rubber glide feet while our mobile office screen is fitted with wheels.

Floor standing social distancing screens
Freestanding social distancing screens are often manufactured with perspex panels. Our folding screens are glazed with PET which is as optically clear as acrylic but thinner and lighter.
Compared with a perspex divider screen or glass office screen our solution is both more economical and easier to move around, while remaining equally effective in limiting airborne transmission.
Advantage of hinged glazed screens
A glazed office screen with folding sections can be wrapped around a seating area or used to segregate tables or meeting spaces.
Our modular glazed freestanding partition is not confined to offices.
In a canteen or restaurant floor standing sneeze screens can be used to keep diners separate and safe.
In a hairdresser or beauty clinic an adjustable-angle floor screen can be positioned around workstations or treatment tables.
With our folding glazed screens the angle of adjacent panels can be set between 180 and 90 degrees. The desired angled is locked with easy-to-use hand-wheels which secure the crescent-shape base plate. Subsequent adjustment is just as simple.
Are wheels worthwhile?
Folding screens are available with or without wheels. Ordering a model with wheels is useful if you are looking for a mobile office screen which may be moved frequently. The supplied wheels comprise individually lockable castors. The wheels attach to the flat bar feet and/or the triangular connector base plates which replace the standard feet where screens link together.
The alternative is to use the hard rubber feet supplied by default with each protective screen. These are easily transferred to the connector base plate. On a hard floor the feet glide quite easily so the freestanding perspex screen can be pushed along for cleaning or re-positioning, without marking or scratching the floor.
What's included?
With every folding screen combination you will receive the appropriate number of standard floor protection screens: each comes with two flat bar feet.
For each link to another screen you will receive a connector kit, including two triangular connector base plates, which replace the flat bar feet in the relevant locations. (The 'spare' bar feet thus created can be set to one side for possible future use e.g. if screens are used separately later on).
A crescent shape locking mechanism with knobs to secure and 3 hinges are also included.
Allen keys are supplied but you will need to use your own cross-head screwdriver.
If you ordered 'with wheels' you will also receive the correct number of wheels with dome nuts to secure them, plus a pair of 13mm spanners to tighten.
Are other configurations possible?
There is no problem creating other layouts such as a folding concertina screen illustrated below. Please call as we can make up special combinations.
How big are these office divider screens?
Each individual panel is 2 metre tall by 1 metre wide.
When aligned with the panels in a straight line the 2-panel model is 2m wide and the 3-panel model is 3m wide.
The flat bar feet are 40 cm long.
How thick is the plastic?
The PET glazing is 1mm thick. It is pre-assembled in the frame and secured around all four sides with a gripper extrusion. It can be removed for cleaning if required but this is not necessary in normal use.
PET is not the same as perspex (a name generally used to describe acrylic sheet, but also used 'looslely' to refer to clear plastic sheet). PET is a high quality material with excellent optical clarity. It is often used in food contact environments and is the material of choice for manufacture of face visors (using much thinner material than in our screens). It can be cleaned with regular non-abrasive cleaning products. PET can be recycled.
The individual screens come pre-glazed and pre-assembled. The boxes are very large so please get them delivered to the installation address - they won't fit in a car! As the screens are large assembly is a job for two people working together.
Assembling a multi-section divider screen is reasonably straightforward and instructions are supplied. If you can assemble an Ikea wardrobe you should manage just fine.
The hinges allow the screens to swivel through 90 degrees. They do not allow the screen to swing both ways. So during assembly please consider which way you want the screens to close.
For a 3 section screen the hinges can be set up to close making three sides of a square OR to create a zig-zag.
The angle is adjustable between 180 degrees (straight) down to 90 degrees (a right angle).
