Payment Methods

This page describes payment methods that we offer. The choices available for you will be offered automatically in the Checkout.

We are pleased to offer our customers a choice of payment methods.

The first three options are available for 'guests' (without registering on this website).

If you want goods quickly please Pay by Card or use PayPal 

  • Pay by Card
    • Online payments including Visa, Mastercard and Maestro are securely processed for us by SagePay - see details below
    • If your online card payment fails - call us on 01489 896999 as we can often process card payments over the phone 
  • Pay using your PayPal account
    • You can also use PayPal to pay by card including American Express without opening a PayPal account 
  • Pre-pay by Pro-Forma Invoice 
  • Public Sector customers can pay by bank transfer after the goods have been despatched ONLY by prior arrangement
  • Approved Credit Account Customers - who have Registered with us online can pay by BACS on account - see details below

The registered business you are dealing with is Green Magic Co. UK Ltd. is our online trading name.

Once your transaction has been submitted successfully you will receive a confirmation regarding your order.  Please be sure to enter all details correctly, including your email address as VAT Invoices and information about your order are sent by email (check your junk folder in case it ends up there).

When we have processed your order in our office we will email an official receipted Invoice.  It will be sent to the email address you provided.  We do not know the email address of your accounts or finance department so please forward it (if required by your organisation).  

Duplicate invoices can be issued without difficulty - simply get in touch giving us some information to help us identify the transaction in question. 

Sage Pay - now rebranded Opayo

We have chosen to use Opayo (formerly Sage Pay) to process card payments for goods purchased on this website

Green Magic Co wants to offer customers excellent service and that includes our approach to security.  Maintaining customer privacy is a priority.  Opayo (formerly SagePay) is the largest independent payment processor in the UK offering compliance with the highest level in payment card data security standards.  You can rest assured that the credit or debit card information you enter is safe and secure.

Green Magic Co does not capture or store your card details.  Once you have entered your card number into a payment page, which is securely hosted by Opayo/Sage Pay, all sensitive data is encrypted and sent to the banks for processing.

Be sure that details such as the card registration address are entered correctly as the payment processing system can highlight or reject non-conforming entries.

3D Secure - an extra security check 

Via Opayo/Sage Pay, we have also enabled 3D Secure (branded by your card provider as "Verified by Visa" and "SecureCode by MasterCard").  This is an additional check to confirm that no one other than you is using your card.  The appropriate box will appear and ask you to enter certain characters from the password you have registered with your bank.  If you have registered with your bank for two-factor authentication you may need to have your mobile phone handy. Please note that for higher value transactions we require 3D Secure compliance to process an order successfully - for small orders it serves as an optional safeguard. 

Many customers have already registered for 3D Secure but if you need assistance completing a transaction which does not go through properly please call us during business hours. We will do our best to help and can usually propose an alternative payment method.


PayPal is a service that enables you to pay us without revealing your financial details.  PayPal uses the latest data encryption and anti-fraud technology to keep your information safe.  It is especially convenient if you already have a PayPal login and account set up.  Alternatively you can choose your payment method within the PayPal system to complete your purchase. Please use this method if your wish to pay by Amex.

PayPal delivery address issues

Have you noticed that your PayPal account seems to collect several slightly different versions of your actual address?

Delivery address issues may seem to arise when using PayPal - for example if you wish to deliver to a different address such as to a business.  Do not be concerned if you have already entered the correct address details in our checkout process as we will use these rather than non-matching or incomplete addresses you may have previously registered via PayPal.  

Please check the invoice and shipping addresses you see in the order confirmation which you receive by email from us (Green Magic Co) as they will override the PayPal details in the event that there seems to be a mismatch.  For example PayPal addresses sometimes seem to omit the business or organisation name, which makes customers concerned whether they will receive their goods.  But as long as you entered the correct information during our checkout process we will include the business name or similar details irrespective of PayPal's slight shortcomings in this regard.

Pre-Pay by BACS using Pro Forma Invoice method

Customers in UK and Ireland have the option to pre-pay by BACS or Faster Payments, or by calling our sales team with your credit/debit card details.  Please note bank payments inevitably take longer to process and confirm than card payments and are not suitable for urgent deliveries.

To use this method please select Pro-Forma Invoice payment method in the checkout. We will email you a Pro-Forma Invoice (only on business days when our office is open) showing our bank details (Account and Sort Code). Please pass this invoice to your accounts department with a request to pay urgently.

Once payment has been made please email a Remittance Advice (see Invoice for details). This alerts us to check our bank for your payment. As soon as we have cleared funds your online order will commence processing through our system and the goods will be despatched as soon as possible. You will also be emailed our final VAT Invoice.

Companies with existing credit agreement in place

An invoicing facility is available to companies who have existing credit account facilities with Green Magic Co. UK Ltd (the business behind To make use of this facility we need to link your online credentials (email address and login) with an existing credit account. Please follow the Setup Proceedure below.

Note:  We do not offer credit accounts to businesses unless a regular trading pattern has been established and is maintained. We do not offer credit accounts for initial or ad hoc orders irrespective of the standing of the company because the cost of administering such accounts can make this uneconomical. Having an Online Account (meaning you have registered on this website) does not mean you automatically have a Credit Account.

STEP 1   Register

Register an email address and secure password (which remains confidential to you), including the name and billing address of your organisation.

STEP 2   Email us

Email from the email address you have registered, confirming you are authorised to order online on behalf of your organisation.

  • Please check that online ordering on account is an acceptable purchasing method for your organisation.
  • If invoices must be emailed to a specific person or department in order to get paid it is your responsibility to inform us.

STEP 3  Checkout without a card

We will notify you once your account is approved and linked to your email address.
For approved accounts the Checkout will now display an additional payment method: Bank Transfer enabling you to complete the purchase without the need to enter card details.

  • When you reach the Checkout, enter your email address and you will be invited to Log In with your password.
  • You can also Log In before reaching the Checkout to register additional delivery addresses and view previous or saved orders etc.

Do other members of your company need this facility? No problem! 
They need to register individually on this website so we have a verified email address for each team member. Then email us with the details and we'll link them to your company credit account.

Each registered individual will only be able to see their own orders online.
We link the individual online accounts in our office Sage Accounts system, so that we can combine multiple orders onto a single Statement sent to a central accounts department.
