Heavy duty pavement & Forecourt signs 30x40" , A0 and large 40x60"
Super robust and heavy-duty large pavement and forecourt signs intended for exposed situations. Forecourt signs with a substantial water-filled base for stability combined with a sturdy poster frame mounted on strong springs to allow strong wind to spill over, rather than topple over.
Extra-large base reinforced with a metal sub-frame make the Windcheater waterbase large forecourt sign especially heavy-duty.
Available for special order in three sizes A0, 30x40 inch and 40x60 inch the base should be filled with water prior to use outdoors.
Aluminium snap frames on each side incorporate a waterproof seal to keep paper posters dry. The design also allows sign substrates such as foamex up to 3mm thick to be inserted in place of standard digital prints.
The snap frame design incorporates neat rounded corners, a safety feature to protect pedestrians who may stumble or accidentally catch the frame.
Sturdy springs allow the frame to deflect in strong winds to minimize risk and ensure the sign will not blow over.
To make it practical to move the sign each base is fitted with a set of wheels. Tilt the whole unit until its weight is borne on the wheels and simply roll it along. Use wheels only on level and smooth surfaces.

The size of the water-fill base increases the larger the frame. For the A0 size pavement sign a medium size base is used. Weight when filled with water is 46kg.
The largest frame we can supply in this particular range is 40"x60" - for this size the large base is supplied (69kg when filled).
For outdoor display of signs in retail parks, the High Street, car dealerships and petrol station forecourts the water fillable pavement sign has much to commend it. The Windcheater range are all manufactured with back to back snap frames for double-sided use. The panel separating the frames is twin-wall fluted polypropylene.
The poster frames are equipped with a foam rubber gasket to keep out the elements. Moreover, unlike most snap frames, there is sufficient depth to accept a 3mm semi rigid graphic display panel as an alternative to a poster.
The springs which join the frame to the base are made of stainless steel.
The base incorporates wheels for easy moving and positioning on smooth, level surfaces. The wheels are not suitable for use on abrasive surface areas such as grit, gravel and stones.
Each Windcheater ships in two cartons, the base and the snap frame poster holder. Assembly is very easy and does not require any tools or special skills.
The Windcheater is also known in some markets as the Eco Waterbase Wind Sign.
