Description
Stand off panel fixings made from stainless steel
Steel Range. High-quality 304 grade stainless steel, elegant facet appearance. Head is inserted through the panel to be fixed and secured by tightening a grub screw from the side.
Stainless steel standoff fixings are priced SINGLY. Please note: as the standoffs are pre-packed in boxes of 4, kindly order in multiples of 4 units. 4 pieces is the minimum quantity which can be ordered.
Steel 13 13mm diameter head, 15mm stand-off distance from wall. Suits panels from 2 mm up to 10 mm thick. Panel hole size 8 mm diameter.
Steel 15 15mm diameter head, 15mm stand off distance from the wall. 2-11 mm grip range. Panel hole size 9 - 10 mm (to allow for thermal movement or slight misalignment of drilled holes)
Steel 20 20mm diameter head, 20mm wall stand off & 2-11 mm grip range. Panel hole size 9 - 10 mm diameter.
The best size of stand-off for your project will depend on the visual appearance your require - discreet fixings or larger fittings which make more of a statement. Generally, smaller signs suit smaller fittings and larger signs suit larger head size wall fixings.
Each box of fittings comes complete with wall plugs, screws, allen key and grub screws.

The base of each fitting must be screwed securely to the wall. Accurate positioning and drilling is required.
Panels should be pre-drilled with holes - normally 4 holes per mid size panels (at the corners).
Two fixings can be used with narrow strip panels, while extra large panels can require 6 or more stand-offs to ensure the sign remains secure.
For larger panels, please take account of differential thermal expansion between the panel and the wall. This can be allowed for by drilling the panel with slightly oversized holes.
