Snap frame or clip frame what is the difference? 

In the UK, the terms snap frame and clip frame are often used interchangeably to describe the same product. The name snap frame comes from the distinctive snapping action of the spring-loaded frame edges, which open and close to securely hold a poster behind a protective cover. The term clip frame is also commonly used, as the edges of the frame effectively clip the poster in place.

While there may be minor differences between manufacturers, these are generally aluminium poster frames designed for easy and frequent poster changes.

It's worth noting that there is another type of product also referred to as a clip frame, typically found in the home or hobby market. These frames usually consist of an acrylic front and a hardboard backing, with metal clips around the edges to hold an A3 (or other size) print in place. However, they do not offer the same durability or professional finish as commercial snap or clip frames.
