Black Bee-Line hook locks onto cable
Description
Black hooks have a matt black finish. The Bee-Line hook self locks onto wire and can be adjusted using the release button where the cable enters the fitting. The black hook has a safe working load of 17 kg with a 5:1 safety factor (advisable for suspended items). Height of hook is 37mm (1-1/2")
The cable passes straight through the hook. It can be cut off flush with the bottom or a short tail can be left for further fine adjustment (recommended). Alternatively more hooks can be threaded onto a single cable - a useful feature for art retailers and picture framers where several different size pictures or paintings need to be displayed one above the other. The hook is so versatile and easy to use - resetting the height takes seconds.
We recommend these hooks are purchased with one of our black hanging wire sets or with other components from our range. On this page you can order with a black loop-end cable 2m long. This allows attachment to a small existing ceiling hook or can be used to create a lasso to suspend from a pole, pipe, trunking or roof purlin.
The hook works best on 7x7 1.5mm diam steel wire rope. It can be used with most wires between 1mm and 2mm thick but we recommend testing thoroughly if using your own wire, and our SWL ratings will not apply as they are based on laboratory tests using our own cables.
