Please request a quote by email stating what you wish to order and the delivery address. We will get back to you with a quotation if we can ship these particular goods to your destination. Alternatively we can quote ex works and you are welcome to arrange collection and shipping.
85% of orders placed with us online (before 1pm) are delivered NEXT WORKING DAY at no extra charge - with the majority of the remaining UK Mainland orders delivered within 2 working days.
If the delivery date is critical please use the Message Box provided in our Checkout to notify us - we always try to keep customers informed if we cannot meet a stated deadline.
If your order is especially urgent please call to check availability with us on 01489 896999. You can also phone to enquire about special surcharged services such as pre-10am, pre-noon or Saturday deliveries or if opening hours are restricted.
We hold good stocks of hundreds of products but a few items are produced to order or occasionally our stocks may be depleted by an exceptionally high volume of orders. As a result delivery can sometimes take longer - if the delay is likely to be more than a week we will keep you informed. For more details please refer to our Conditions of Sale.
We use reliable next day courier services who achieve a very high delivery success rate. To help make this happen please use the checkout Message Box to tell us about any special delivery instructions such as restricted opening times or where the goods can be safely left (at your risk) if no-one is in. However we strongly advise requesting delivery to a location where someone will be available to take delivery and sign for goods during normal working hours (9.00am to 5.00pm when most deliveries take place).
When your order has been despatched you will normally receive an email generated automatically by our courier.
If the delivery day is unsuitable please follow the contact instructions in the email they send. This way you can thus communicate directly with the courier company using your personal tracking number. This is generally faster and easier than relaying messages to us, which we then have to pass on via their call centres.
If you do not receive the delivery when they say or if you get a Calling Card because there was no-one available to take delivery - PLEASE TAKE PROMPT ACTION. If not the couriers may return the goods to us as 'undeliverable' and a second charge may be incurred to resend.
Payment online and VAT invoices
We use Sage Pay and PayPal to process our online credit card transactions. Sage Pay is a major provider of online card processing services to businesses. Green Magic does not collect or store your credit card details. Click here to read about our Secure Card processing system.
We send out VAT Invoices following every transaction by email.
You will receive a Delivery Note with the goods: please quote the number on it in the event of any queries.
If any refund is due we will normally process this via Sage Pay or PayPal as applicable. We will naturally keep you informed.
If you have an existing credit account with Green Magic Co or if you are a public sector purchaser without a Procurement Card you can place orders using your Purchase Ordering system - either by fax, post or email. If you expect to order regularly please contact us so we can enable online ordering on account.
Virtually all our goods are delivered by van or lorry delivery service and some packages are quite bulky. This makes it impossible to return most goods by normal postal services. As a result it is not generally cost effective to send out goods 'on approval' so if you are not sure about a purchase please call to discuss your requirements and we will be pleased to advise you.
If you find you have ordered a product which does not meet your needs and you wish to return it we will normally refund the value of the goods, less a £10 administration and restocking charge, provided the goods are unused and in the original packaging. If you upgrade to a more expensive alternative the restocking charge will be waived. We are not able to refund delivery charges or return carriage costs unless the product is faulty or wrongly supplied by us. Full details here.
Features of your online account with us
You can start 'shopping' without registering your details with us - but before you can take your basket through the 'checkout' you will need to register. Once registered you have access to other useful features of the site - such as viewing saved baskets or tracking the status of any current or completed orders.
Provided you tick the relevant box we will keep you informed about the progress of your order by email. You will receive a 5-figure Order No. in the format #12345 which you should quote if you wish to speak to us about the progress of your order. Additionally you can Login anytime and see the status of your order or review previous orders.
Delivery addresses, booking in policy and larger orders
Our deliveries are usually parcels delivered by a van courier service.
A signature will normally be required, so please give a suitable delivery address where someone will be able to receive the goods during normal business hours.
If special delivery instructions are required, or there are any restrictions on delivery times, please state them clearly. An 'additional information' box is provided during the checkout process.
We do not automatically phone to book in deliveries unless specifically asked in writing to do so.
Larger orders may be despatched on pallets via a specialist pallet carrier. We will try to check whether you have fork lift truck off-loading facilities, if we we have doubts about this.
1 Before the carrier leaves always check that the number of parcels corresponds with the number stated on the ticket or the PDA 'signature pad'.
2 If there is any sign of damage to the packaging it is important to indicate this when signing the carrier's delivery sheet. Please also inform us.
3 Please check goods as soon as possible. If the goods have been incorrectly supplied or are damaged please let us know right away and certainly within 5 days of delivery. We can then sort out any problems quickly and efficiently.
