Green Magic Co was founded in 1995 by Jo and Nigel Spelman. (That's us dressed up posh on our hols a couple of years ago).
Having originally graduated in engineering, Nigel's attention was already focussed on supplying capital equipment to retailers.
The garden centre sector was a particular area of expertise and initially Green Magic came into existence to serve the needs of that market.
We still do a lot with garden centres throughout the UK and abroad - but today the company also supplies many other sectors, ranging from big retailers to little restaurants, and from zoos to HQs.
Green Magic aims to give personal attention to all our customers
We're a real bricks and mortar business - not just a faceless cyberspace cipher. We design things, we make things, we also import components and finished goods.
We hold stocks and every day we despatch products promptly and carefully. We strive to get things right first time; and to give customers sound advice as a routine part of our service.
As well of supplying all types of direct customers we are also a significant supplier to the sign and graphics trade.
So you should find our prices good.

The only thing that is misleading is the picture of us at the top of the page! No, we're not constantly living it up in the tropics - I'm here in the office, talking to customers on a daily basis.
My wife Jo oversees the accounts. Jo's son Stuart Makinson is our warehouse manager and my right hand man. And then there are some non-family members as well, some of whom you'll meet elsewhere on this site. We try to foster the feeling of a family business offering good old fashioned service.
