Concealed fixing lug

These are for attaching Woodline and Alu profile frames to the wall when a hidden fixing system is prefered.  A small hole has to be drilled in the rear profile of the frame to locate the 'pin' sticking out of this clip.

  • For Woodline and Alu profile ONLY. This fitting goes inside the frame.

  • When the contents of the frame (i.e. poster and backing sheet if applicable) are inserted the fixing is invisible.

  • A 3mm drill will be required by you to drill the frame in the required positions to coincide with the lugs. The protruding pin has to engage with a hole on the inside edge of the frame (in the rear profile, parallel to the wall).

  • Normally for secure fixing 4 lugs are required per frame, especially for larger frames and generally the lugs are positioned down the two sides of the frame. However it is acceptable to 'hang' the frame from the top profile only. In this case two lugs are sufficient and this way the frame can be lifted on and off for ease of changing posters or updating blackboard messages etc.
