Laminated size snap frames are over-sized to take laminated A4 prints as well as being perfectly suitable for standard A4 paper which has not been encapsulated. Laminating (or encapsulation) renders the poster water-proof making it suitable for outdoor use.
- Laminated prints are also applicable indoors in washrooms or where steam cleaning of walls may be necessary.
- A3 version suits A3 laminated prints or plain A3 paper placed behind the clear cover sheet.
- These frames can also be used for standard A4 or A3 paper placed behind the poster protector. The slightly oversize frame means less of the print border gets covered by the frame surround.
Silver finish snap frames in laminated paper sizes are supplied with poster covers (not intended to seal the paper against moisture). Fully sealed laminated prints can be placed in front of the cover (i.e. with the cover sheet stowed behind the sign for possible future use.)
