Fittings to create loops in suspension cables with ease

Cable loop devices offer practical and attractive ways to suspend signs and services. Available in loop cable kits or as components.

Cables (suspension wires) can be used for hanging all kinds of things when combined with hooks and clamp fittings to create loops (without ferrules - which require specialist tools to apply).
Self locking clamp fittings such as our new Urban Trapeze, or the established Gripple and Zip-Lock brands can be used to create adjustable loops in galvanised wire rope or stainless steel wire.
Fine adjustment could not be easier with the ultra compact and stylish Urban Trapeze gripper. It offers a much more refined look for suspended signage and is incredibly easy to use.
Perla, though not self-locking, is another valuable piece of sign hardware, for example when combined hook end wires.
These cable systems can equally be used for luminaire suspension, track lighting systems and other services (for lighter loads up to 5-10kg per wire). Simply depress the clutch release button to adjust the height.

Cable loops make installation quick and easy - and heights can be infinitely adjusted.

Urban Trapeze is an adjustable cable loop device used to suspend signage, lighting systems and fixtures such as suspended ceilings.

Whether you're looping a cable around a purlin or through a hanging eye, cable loops offer a versatile and safe way to use strong (yet slender) wire ropes (from 1.2mm to 1.5mm thick).

Supplied either as Cable Loop Kits (Kit J) or as individual adjustable grippers plus wire reels to create your own systems.
Urban Trapeze is incredibly easy to use. Simply insert the cable (wire) and the built-in locking mechanism grips it automatically. To adjust or release, press the clutch button.
The cable loop kit (UT.KIT.J) consists of a 2m long cable with a mini hook at one end, plus an Urban Trapeze fitting - for you to complete the loop as and where required.
Individual Urban Trapeze grippers can be purchased separately, with or without reels of cable.
N.B. Good quality wire cutters are required to achieve a clean cut without fraying the cable.

Loop cable with adjustable hook

Loop Cable Kit consists of a 2m long cable with the facility to loop over a beam or roof truss and double the cable back on itself to secure the top end by creating a loop.

The supplied Safety Hook is then threaded onto the trailing end of the cable and height adjusted with the automatic gripper mechanism incorporated into the hook.

The clutch release button allows the hook to be slid up and down the cable to achieve the correct level. With this kit the adjustment is conveniently done at the bottom of the cable rather than high in the roof.

Poster bars or other signs/displays can then be hooked on/off without disturbing the adjusted height of the suspended hooks. This makes for easy poster changes.

Wire loop clamp

Perla is small round loop clamp with grub screw.

Perla is used for creating a loop in a cable, wire or nylon filament.
Just 10mm across, Perla is a chome plated sphere offering a neat and discreet way to terminate a cable or to create a fixed loop.
A small grub screw is tightened with the allen key supplied, to lock the wires in position.
