Flip-up barkers

Flip up barkers clip onto the front edge of data strip or scanner rails fitted to shelves in shops. If data strip is fitted this hinged barker presents the easiest and most versatile method of displaying promotions and offers.

The clear extruded plastic holder is very economical. The printed ticket or POS is simply slid into the holder.

The Flip-up barker has a plastic 'hinge' along the top edge. So if the ticket holder is disturbed by a customer (e.g. removing a large product from a lower shelf) it simply falls back into place.

Two sizes are available: A7 and Quarter A4

Both these are the same height 74mm (about 3in).

A7 is half the width of standard A4 paper: 105mm (about 4in)

1/4 A4 (QA4) is the full width of A4 paper: 210mm (about 8in)

So if you are printing your own POS or promotions you can use an ordinary A4 office printer.
For the A7 size you can format your paper to print 8 per sheet.
For 1/4 A4 size you can print 4 per sheet.

Use an office trimmer to slit the printout after printing.

Alternatively, for larger scale in-house production of tickets, you can order pre-perforated paper from your printer, maybe with a logo or background pre-printed so you can then over-print in black.

Note: The hinge action also facilitates access to product bar codes in the scanner rail (beneath the sign).
