Windcheater with water-filled base

Extra large base reinforced with a metal sub-frame make Windcheater waterbase forecourt signs especially heavy-duty for use in exposed situations.

Available in three sizes from A1 up to 40"x60" (this large forecourt sign has an extra size base). The base should be filled with water prior to use outdoors.

Aluminium snap frames on each side incorporate a waterproof seal to keep paper posters dry. The design also allows sign substrates up to 3mm thick to be inserted in place of standard digital prints.
The snap frame design incorporates neat rounded corners, a safety feature to protect pedestrians who may stumble or accidently catch the frame.
Sturdy springs allow the frame to deflect in strong winds to minimize risk and ensure the sign will not blow over.
To make it practical to move the sign each base is fitted with a set of wheels.
Tilt the whole unit until its weight is borne on the wheels and simply roll it along.

Windcheater Applications

The size of the water-fill base increases the larger the frame. For the two smaller frame sizes we stock the medium size base is used. Weight when filled with water is 46kg.

The largest frame we can supply in this particular range is 40"x60" - for this size the large base is supplied (69kg when filled).

For outdoor display of signs in retail parks, the High Street, car dealerships and petrol station forecourts the water fillable pavement sign has much to commend it. The Windcheater range are all manufactured with back to back snap frames for double-sided use. The panel separating the frames is twin-wall fluted polypropylene.

The poster frames are equipped with a foam rubber gasket to keep out the elements. Moreover, unlike most snap frames, there is sufficient depth to accept a 1mm semi rigid graphic display panel as an alternative to a poster.

The springs which join the frame to the base are made of stainless steel.

Each Windcheater ships in two cartons, the base and the snap frame poster holder. Assembly is very easy and does not require any tools or special skills.
