Series 50 magnetic notice boards

Series 50 lockable magnetic noticeboards are suitable for use indoors or outside. The 50mm deep aluminium frame has a sealing gasket built into the hinged door, rendering the noticeboard waterproof.

The available sizes are defined by the number of A4 pages which can be displayed. This assumes the sheets are displayed portrait if the notice board is fitted portrait (and the equivalent applies if the noticeboard is installed landscape). Note that integral struts can be used to hold the door open when the door hinge is positioned at the top.

These magnetic whiteboard notice boards are suitable for interior or exterior use.

They are supplied with a starter set of magnets for fixing notices without the need for drawing pins.

Post Fixing Ideas

Currently we don't offer posts to suit Series 50 Magnetic notice boards.

However some customers have provided their own timber posts with a backing-board made from marine ply or similar (the size at least the same as the back of our noticeboard).

Our magnetic noticeboards can be attached to this backing-board in the same way as they are designed to be fixed to a wall, using the two concealed mounting rails screwed to the backing-board. The noticeboard is 'suspended' on the top rail and 'nipped up tight' onto the bottom rail (from beneath using two grub screws provided).

Please Note:
The mounting rails are not suitable for spanning the gap between the posts without using the backing-board described above.
We don't advise drilling through the back of our noticeboards to fix them directly to the posts as the holes created can compromise weather-tightness of the notice board (unless sealed carefully e.g. with silicone sealant).

Keys

They are lockable but the keys are all the same so one key will open a number of notice boards on site. This is a convenient feature for supervisory staff.
