Suitable Applications
Domestic Situations
Poster Snaps can be used for displaying posters on a wall in a domestic environment; and they are completely reusable. For example they can be used for hanging posters or maps in a child's or teenager's bedroom.
You will just have to consider how you're going to hang the Poster Snap - i.e. either you can use a picture hook, screw into the wall or use a Command Strip (hook with removable adhesive). The slide-along hanging eyes on the top rail of the Poster Snap can then be hooked onto the chosen fixing - and removed again or the poster exchanged as required.
Commercial Applications
In commercial situations Poster Snaps are generally hung from the ceiling using screw-in, clip-on or self-adhesive ceiling attachment fittings combined with fixed length or extending double-ended hooks or wires.
Poster Snaps are suitable for standard duty indoor applications and will grip paper, thin card and banner materials such as flexible vinyl and fabrics.
Poster Snaps rely on the the material being sufficiently flexible to crease slightly under the action of the spring loaded top bar bearing down on the foam rubber strip beneath the poster. Grip onto 'slippery' materials can be improved by inserting a few staples into the top and bottom edges of the poster, but this is rarely required.
If the material to be hung is especially stiff or heavy (e.g. because the drop length of the banner is more than say 2m) consider using Poster Clamps.
Poster Snaps and Poster Clamps are not generally suitable for rigid panels such as foam PVC boards or substrates more than 0.5mm thick. If in doubt please test.
