Sign hanging kit allows for height adjustment at sign level rather than at ceiling level.

The 180 degree screw-on fitting can also be fixed onto sloping ceilings or vertical walls.

The hook has a safety feature to prevent accidental unhooking.

Chrome dome fitting has a swivel slot so it can be used to hang signs from a wall or bulkhead and from a flat or sloping ceiling. Also suitable for use with poster rails.
Safety hook features a spring-loaded keep so signs, pictures and other suspended items cannot become unhooked by accident. The chrome safe hook is easily adjusted in height thanks to the inbuilt gripper, with a finger-tip clutch release button (Vari-hite).
Cable supplied is 1m long. Excess cable can be cut off as required after height adjustment.
Excellent hanging wire system for suspending posters and picture hanging, as well as sign hanging.

Screw-on sign hanger mounting instructions:

Unscrew the two parts of the dome fitting.
Position the base of the fitting against the ceiling or wall and carefully mark the fixing location.
Decide whether to use the plastic screw plug or screw directly e.g. into wood (consult a tradesman if in doubt about how to achieve a suitable fixing). Check for electrical cables or pipes before drilling.
Thread the cable down through the dome (until the ball termination rests inside the dome).
Screw the dome back onto the base.
Thread the hook onto the bottom end of the cable and adjust the height of the hook as required. Use the clutch release button to position the hook at the required height.
Optionally cut off excess cable with good wire cutters when you are quite satisfied that the height is correct and the suspended component is quite level.

Cable specification:

1.2mm galvanised steel cable, length 1 metre, with ball termination at the top end. It can be shortened after adjustment on site with good quality wire cutters. We suggest you do not cut the cable until after you have threaded on the hook. Safe working load up to 10kg with 5:1 safety factor.

Ceiling hanger specification:

180 degree angle capability chrome finish dome shape anchor. Two part fitting with base which screws to ceiling or wall. Supplied with wall plug and screw.

Safe Hook Specification:

Fully adjustable safety hook which serves as a picture hook or for suspending signs and other items to be hung. The cable can pass right through the hook and is gripped internally by an inbuilt clutch - which can be released for fine adjustment using the entry nipple (where the cable enters). A spring action safety keep helps prevent the hook becoming detached. The Safe Hook requires a 5mm hole in a suspension eye or sign panel.

Precautions:

Do not lubricate the gripper mechanism in the safe hook.
Do not overload and ensure that your ceiling or wall fixing method is appropriate to the ceiling or wall construction and the intended loading.
Do not paint the the hook gripper.
Only intended for static loads and for use indoors.
Installers must satisfy themselves that the sign/picture//poster hanging kit is suitable for the specific application as site circumstances are beyond our control.
