Aerofoil shape curved aluminium panel base - stylish Pressto

Pressto base with clear acrylic panel

The stylish Pressto base combined with almost any type or thickness of graphic panel creates a stunning visual statement - a free standing display panel supported elegantly and securely.

Use for direction signposting, displaying advertising messages, demarcation of departments and countless other possibilities.  Pressto combines Italian styling with a clever functional mechanism designed to grip many types of display panel - simply by tightening a knurled hand-wheel discretely located on the underside. 

The central extrusion linking the two legs can be positioned in two ways to maximise the range of panel thicknesses  which Pressto can support.  This flexibility gives the extruded aluminium sign base great appeal.  It is stable for use indoors and can be used outdoors with shorter panels to avoid the risk of over-toppling.

Pressto display panel base - Silver

Pressto bases are beautifully engineered from aerofoil shape aluminium extrusions.  They are designed to secure any type of display panel up the 30mm thickness (view more details). 

The two halves are joined by a link profile catering for different panel thicknesses.  Beneath the base there is a knurled hand wheel which tightens the grip holding any panel securely yet without stress.  Even toughed glass panels are possible.

  • Silver aluminium profiles are robust and stable, with non slip rubber edging strips against the floor.
  • Sleek curved anodised aluminium finish looks elegant anywhere. 
  • Various width profiles may be left open at each end or closed off with optional black end caps.
  • Pressto is a top-of-the-range vertical panel base.  Can be used in pairs to support wider panels.  A black version is also available.

End caps for Pressto bases

Pressto bases look attractive when the ends of the aluminium profiles are left open.  However they can look even more refined when the profiles are closed off with end caps.

Black plastic end caps are supplied as a set of 4 pieces - enough for a single Pressto base.  They are inserted as a simple push fit.

Rigid display panel

The shiny white finish on this vertical display panel is an attractive basis for the addition of further graphics and display elements such as poster frames or leaflet dispensers.  The narrower panel (500mm) works with both Pressto bases and Monolith bases. (Monolith base is illustrated.  Please order bases separately).

The panel is made of a composite material Dibond - it has a tough lightweight core faced with a thin covering of white finish aluminium on each side. A factory fitted snap bar at the top of one face is included (protects corners against possible injury - see close up image)

  • 4mm thick Dibond, either 500mm or 750mm wide:1500mm high.
  • Suitable for application of graphics, poster frames, leaflet holders etc. (Scroll down for accessories which can be ordered ready for positioning by customer during final assembly on site).
  • Also available in 500mm wide version with two A2 snap frames pre-mounted back to back.

Pressto panel base in black

As an alternative to silver the Pressto display panel base is also available in black. 

The black extrusions with central linking profile will grip any type of display panel up to 30mm thick. The handwheel located under the base is used to tighten the grip on the graphic display panel of your choice.  Sign companies and large format printers can produce suitable panels - we only supply the bases.

Black Pressto bases are generally used in pairs as illustrated.  They are supplied completee with black plastic end caps.

Pinch clamp top closure

When Pressto bases are to be used with a pair of glass or clear acrylic panels with a poster sandwiched in between, a clamp is needed to secure the panels together at the top

The Pinch Clamp offers a meat finishing touch. An allen key is required to adjust to the correct thickness and to nip up tight.  They are sold single but normally used in pairs.
