Snap frames for laminated signs

These snap frames are over-sized to take laminated A4 prints as well as standard A4 paper. The larger version suits A3 laminated prints or plain A3 paper. Lamination renders the poster water-proof - suitable for outdoor use or indoors in washrooms or where steam cleaning of walls may be necessary.

Silver finish snap frames in laminated paper sizes are supplied with poster covers - though laminated prints can be placed in front of the cover (i.e. with the cover sheet stowed behind the sign for possible future use.)

Laminated size snap frames from Green Magic Co have been used successfully in large-scale NHS Trust Hospital signage projects where the convenience of a standard size poster frame, which can take both laminated notices and printed paper signs (i.e. un-laminated) is convenient and cost effective. Wet rooms, bathrooms, toilets, operating theatres and kitchens are examples of areas where poster frames need to be specified with care.

Hygiene is vital and pressure washing and other cleaning techniques need to be employed. By encapsulating printed notices, certificates and the like the signs will not be damaged during such cleansing operations. Laminated size snap frames makes this possible.

Note: Without lamination the poster will not be waterproof.
Encapsulation is in fact the correct term, but the process of heat sealing a sheet of paper in a clear plastic pouch is generally referred to as lamination.
