 Specially adapted snap frames for advertising on vehicles
We can supply to special order snap frames designed specifically for attaching to the sides of vans, lorries or buses in which to display advertisements. The special design addresses several important safety and operational issues which would arise if standard snap frames were used.

 Concealed secure screw or rivet fixing.
The sides of the snap frame are opened up to view the perimeter channel. Fixing holes are provided and a secure mechanical fixing such as screws, bolts or rivets must be used. Please consult a reputable body shop or commercial vehicle body builder.
Please note that these snap frames cannot be supplied curved and therfore they are only suitable for flat-sided vehicles.

Our specially made vehicle snap frames have extra strong springs built into the frame surround. Moreover we use a 42mm secure profile to prevent unauthorised tampering. The poster frame can only be opened with the assistance of a lever tool.
The poster cover sheet is also double the usual thickness. These features combine to offer extra safety to ensure that the frame cannot accidently open - especially when the vehicle is travelling at speed and the suction pressure across the face of the frame could be considerable.
 Cover sheet is top hinged for ease of use.
The PET poster cover sheet is cunningly hinged at the top. This means that when posters are changed the clear plastic face will not fall out and the poster can be changed conveniently and relatively easily. We even supply a handy PULL HERE tab on the bottom corner to make it easier to get the cover open.
Note that covers will not totally prevent rain or humidity reaching the print so it is advisable to specify a wet-strength / water resistant paper or synthetic material for the poster to be printed on.
Like standard snap frames these commercial vehicle advertsing frames are intended for paper-thickness inserts. If you want to use a medium thicker than 300 gram/micron please state at the time of ordering (but we don't recommend it as poster cost will be higher, distribution will be more difficult, as will changing over your advertisements).

Standard frame finish is silver anodised aluminium. Special RAL colours subject to MOQs.
These van and lorry snap frames are sometimes referred to as Autoboard Poster Frames.
