45mm profile snap frames

Silver anodised finish to the aluminium profiles which are 45mm (1.3/4in) wide. This wider profile is more in proportion with larger size frames giving a pleasing visual balance.

The cushion profile shape matches the form of the smaller 25mm profile, enabling the two frame profiles to be used in close proximity with a coherent look.
These mitre corner frames are supplied with an anti-reflex poster protector sheet, styrene back panel and wall fixings.
They are used for outdoor shopping centre signs or indoor movie poster displays, plus all types of advertising and promotional signage.

A0 size in inches is 33.1/8" x 46.3/4".

40"x60" snap frames are now only stocked in a waterproof lockable version - which can also be used indoors and the locking facility can be ignored if not appropriate to your needs.

These large snapframes make good poster frames for many types of information sign and display of large advertsiements, for instance outside supermarkets or on site hoardings. But they look equally good indoors creating a prestige appearance with easy to change front loading action.

Front face is plastic not glass. Snap frames do not accept glass or rigid glazing materials. The front face is flexible plastic with an ant-reflective surface on one side and a glossy surface on the other (i.e. it is reversible). The clarity is not quite as clear as glass. The plastic is a good quality material called PET, with thickness 0.5mm.

The 30"x40" (30x40" frame) size snap frame is also known as Quad Crown size, more often described as a Quad snap frame. (30in x 40in is 762x1016mm).

The 40"x60" (40x60" frame) size snap frame is also known as 4 Sheet or Double Quad. (40in x 60in is 1016x1524mm). It is now only available to special order in 45mm profile (please call). However we do stock a very similar model in our 35mm profile: See Lockable waterproof snap frames.

Front to back depth of frame: 18mm
Visible poster size: 49mm less than actual poster
(i.e. 25mm all around your poster is hidden by the frame). This is known as the safe copy size.
