Outdoor poster frames

While regular snap frames are used outdoors they are not fully waterproof. Here we present a new patented range of waterproof snap frames: A4 and A3 size in a specially developed 25mm profile and A2 and A1 size in a special 35mm aluminium profile.

The unique feature of these weatherproof snap frames is the foam rubber gasket positioned behind an over-size poster protector. Click on the image right to view this.

Laminated size snap frame

Another approach for external poster frames is to use snap frames sized to take a laminated piece of paper. After encapsulation the A3 or A4 print-out won't fit into a standard snap frame. Our laminated snap frames solve this problem - so your laminated paper sign stays dry whatever the weather.

25mm profile waterproof snap frames

External snap frame made from 25mm aluminium profiles incorporating a foam rubber gasket within the frame to keep paper signs and posters dry.

These waterproof snap frames are ideal for displaying A4 and A3 posters outdoors without the need for laminating.
As well as standard paper these particular snap frames accept thicker inserts: anything from standard thickness paper up to 3mm display boards.
An over-size poster protector is included with a finger-lift PULL tab accessible when the snap frame profiles are opened.
Fixing screws are also supplied.

35mm profile waterproof snap frames

Outdoor poster frame with snap-action poster change facility.

These 35mm wide profile outdoor snap frames suit posters printed on plain paper in sizes A2 and A1.
These poster frames also accept thicker inserts up to 4mm thick.
Foam rubber gasket seal keeps your notices and advertising posters dry behind a poster cover sheet made from outdoor grade PET plastic.
Changing signs is easy with snap frames.

Waterproof lockable snap frames

If you need to display prints and posters in a tamper-proof poster frame, with the additional protection of an integral seal, our lockable water-resistant snap frames could be the answer. These frames can also be used to display thicker substrates such as card (up to 3mm). So the design can be a good choice even if you don't intend to use the frame outdoors.

The frame hinges open to reveal a foam rubber gasket seal all the way round the interior. So not only is your sign or poster safe from interfering fingers, it is also protected from the elements.
The 'lock' is achieved by a screw which can only be undone with an allen key. Each side interlocks with the next - so once the first side is opened, the other three sides can also be accessed. Then the frame contents can be changed with relative ease.
By popular demand the range has been extended to include larger size outdoor snap frames: A0 size (841 x 1188mm), 30x40 inch (Quad size) and 40x60 inch a (4 Sheet poster frame).

Snap frames for laminated signs

Perfect solution for outdoor use with laminated paper signs.

Laminated size snap frames are over-sized to take laminated A4 prints as well as being perfectly suitable for standard A4 paper which has not been encapsulated. Laminating (or encapsulation) renders the poster water-proof making it suitable for outdoor use.

Laminated prints are also applicable indoors in washrooms or where steam cleaning of walls may be necessary.
A3 version suits A3 laminated prints or plain A3 paper placed behind the clear cover sheet.
These frames can also be used for standard A4 or A3 paper placed behind the poster protector. The slightly oversize frame means less of the print border gets covered by the frame surround.

Silver finish snap frames in laminated paper sizes are supplied with poster covers (not intended to seal the paper against moisture). Fully sealed laminated prints can be placed in front of the cover (i.e. with the cover sheet stowed behind the sign for possible future use.)
